There I was, lying in a pool of another person's blood
I felt around to see if it was mine, naw... I'm in perfect health
Swam out and took a shower near the entrance
Got redressed, and got curious to why the lockers in the room were all dented
Except one, pried it open
There was a sign that hung reading 'Don't Enter Nigga', in turn I succumbed
To the same curiosity I fell slave to a couple paragraphs later on,
You'll see.
I blinked once as I stepped in, to find myself sitting on a hollow tree
A beautiful blonde woman sitting next to me
Novel in her hand, the cover page read, By Aristotle
'For Dummies: How to Get Rid of the Mixed Nigga Sitting Next to Me' -- I was startled
"Why are you skimming that book?", I asked simply
She replied with a wonderful smile...
That her name was Alice and she wanted to tempt me
Do things no woman would ever do
She could show me where the caterpillar smoked out,
And where the sarcastic doorknob hid all the mushrooms
I contemplated for a second... she IS in a blue dress
Maybe I should ask a couple more questions to see if this a scheme or not
"I believe in progress, Miss... Alice was it? ;
Let's walk, the wood is starting to splinter, and I can tell you're one to judge it."
So, passing by two fellows with the dumbest sense of humor in striped shirts
I peeked and saw they were in a deep sleep induced by ether,
She told me they really weren't
Walking beside her speechless; some flowers were lying on the ground, picked
The strangest thing was that they each had faces that seemed strangely amiss
There were marks on the Oak trees a Cheshire cat clearly scratched in
"She's th.. e DEVIL. . ... I tried to w rn... ..ou before your dumbass stepped innnn !"
I ignored it, because Alice's conversation had an unusual incentive
"You do know I'd love to see you start rapping again..."
I shook my head, saw a rabbit in a suit crying with a cup of tea in his paw
He was kneeling next to a man who overdosed on cocaine --
He has a bloody nose... I guess the drugs won that war
Kept walking forever it seemed, and with every sentence she spoke
I could tell she was more like a Queen of the Hearts;
Not to mention, she kept shedding her clothes
Revealing a body she said noone had ever seen, flawless... and it showed
Plus her game theory was more than enough to hold my attention the most
Finally we saw a field where a butterfly was silently hovering with his wings closed
Doing nothing except watching me act unlike any typical negro
I sat down, she straddled my lap, I told her to back down
She begged for me to twist her up, hug, bite, & kiss her
She said I made her into more of a woman after each sentence I concurred
It's been two years celibacy to this point, and I was overcome with
The struggle most men experience when they WANT to, but can't...
Knowing they don't want to hear those sounds
"Love, I can't do that unless I'm blunted."
So she rolled up a blunt filled with a strange substance
Picked it up, and lit it, I inhaled and seemed to remember something
Those were warnings.. right? -- I couldn't care past that point
She was on my lap undressing herself further, easy to see she was turned on
By the way she was trying to act like she was double-jointed
I mean... what woman wouldn't be? -- you see, I lied to make myself feel better about
Knowing I'm going to take this goddess to town, I should BACK OUT
But the marijuana made me black out.
I blinked twice and was somewhere else
Looked ahead and I was standing in front of myself
"I haven't seen you in a LONG time", I spoke... I was grinning to myself
He held a 9mm, stood tall next to a few scattered bullets on a shelf
In his right hand, a glass with alcohol in it
He seemed to toast it, pour a little out, and tipped it
Raised his left hand and a bullet rang out
I spun around as the lead grazed my right ribs, my sight gave out
Falling through the floor...
To land in a room with a couple people that used to envy my style
They picked me up and told me what they were up to know
Began to offer me gifts, and their speech got slow
They must've remembered they hated me, a little less than a week ago
They showed me to a woman sitting in the corner
I didn't understand it because she was sitting and drinking
A can of soda with a nail piercing through it,
But she was stuck in a coma
The people said I was so sincere
And they knew I wanted to get back to the field, but they said... with me there
They didn't care what I wished --
"With our god around, we feel SO secure."
At that point I found the doorway, and stumbled in
Where was Alice?,
I wanted to find an intelligent conversation where shit finally makes some sense
In the darkest of hallways with an exit sign that read, 'Out of Wonderland'
I woke up and read the clock...
It said 9:02 AM, I was late for class again
Damn.

Hard to imagine this was a dream. But I've had some trippy ones also.
