The First Sense

See;
It sounds cool but, I'm not Budden
I don't want a bitch just to cover all the resentment, B
I don't want a bitch, I want a woman
You look like that, sure -- but where do you come from?
What guns do you stick to, how do your friends and family depict you?
What point do you believe you're official?
I'm not talking fly, flashy, looking high -- I'm talking much more literal
When do you believe you've become type wife material?
When did you come to the epiphany that most women come across;
In their early twenties, supposedly making them look for something MORE?
On more extreme amounts than a man they know will lust someone else when he is theirs
And more than a man with overly obsessive exes and fans
Less than the all in the business type
But hitting a middle ground -- knows when to leave when you feel like everything isn't right
One that won't disrespect you in the middle of the night
And won't promise to call back 10 minutes later, and forget due to lack of her on his mind
One that can keep his thoughts and his pride, but put those on the bench
To realize YOURS is that much more important
For that I see, I'm certain
And I ain't Budden, I'm not relapsing a woman when I can be happy with the next
I hope you can see that, and see for yourself
Yeah, just see for yourself.
